Paid Marketing Intern

Luminosity Marketing is seeking an analytically minded college senior for a part-time internship. Our goal is to find a bright and hardworking intern with an interest in media. Job Description
Research websites to find audience profiles, circulation/traffic info, costs and media closing dates. Participate in agency brainstorming sessions. Maintain media kit files. Update charts and graphs for presentations. Assist with the development and inventory of agency marketing communications materials.

Intern would also be expected to perform other general office duties such as copying, faxing, filing, answering phones, etc. Luminosity is a small firm and the intern will work with senior agency staff. This includes completing projects for the President and Directors.

Required Skills
Must be comfortable conducting online research
Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Professional phone skills
Quantitative prowess is absolutely required
Strong attention to detail expected

Applicant should be studying in a related field such as marketing, economics, statistics, advertising or communications. Preference is for college seniors from top schools in the New York City area with solid GPAs. Position may lead to full-time employment.

Schedule
Part-time 10-20 hours per week. Days of week negotiable.
Fall (Sept-Dec), Spring (Jan-April), and/or Summer (May-August)

Compensation
$8 hourly
