Luminosity is seeking an Account Executive/New Business Manager to lead outreach for our Marketing Research department.  If you are an up-and-coming ambitious marketing research account executive, who would like to turbo-charge your career with a move to a boutique firm, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Account Executive/New Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving the marketing research sales effort and securing new marketing research projects:

• Build/maintain marketing research prospect contact list
• Create relationship between agency and key marketing research prospects
• Understand the business and marketing challenges of key prospects
• Maintain regular contact with identified prospects to educate them and predispose them to Luminosity
• Lead RFP responses
• Report activity in CRM software on a daily basis
• Organize, direct and make arrangements for new business presentations
• Achieve business building objectives including opening new opportunities and generating revenue.

PROFILE SOUGHT
You should be a motivated relationship manager from a marketing research supplier with a proven sales track record.  You’ve been promoted ahead of your peers at every step of your career and now you are ready to carve your own landscape.  You have an entrepreneurial spirit and an engaging style.  You are passionate about the future of marketing research and want to help marketing research users find the best solutions to answer their most pressing questions. You feel comfortable initiating conversations with corporate marketing research executives.

The Account Executive is a member of the firm’s marketing team, reporting to the Marketing & Sales Director, while working closely with the marketing research operations staff.  The position requires bachelor’s degree (MBA, MS, MMR a plus) and 3-6 years of sales-focused account management experience at a marketing research supplier. Strong computer skills and analytical prowess are a must. The position is located in the New York office.
